Pilates

Learn to control what you can and let go of the rest.

Life often asks us to juggle responsibilities, expectations and endless to-do lists. Pilates offers something different. A space to slow down, reconnect with your body and focus on what is within your control.

My classes combine strength, mobility and mindful movement to help you build a stronger body while creating a moment of calm in your week.

Whether you're completely new to Pilates or already have experience, every class includes options and progressions so you can move at your own pace.

Is this for you?

These classes are for you if you would like to:

  • Build strength without lifting heavy weights

  • Improve posture and core stability

  • Move with more confidence and less stiffness

  • Increase flexibility and mobility

  • Feel more connected to your body

  • Take an hour away from the noise of everyday life

No matter where you're starting from, you'll be supported with modifications and encouragement throughout each class.

Foundations of Pilates

Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that focuses on quality of movement rather than quantity.

The six traditional principles of Pilates are:

  • Breathing

  • Concentration

  • Control

  • Centre (core)

  • Precision

  • Flow

These principles work together to improve strength, balance, posture and body awareness, helping you move more efficiently both in and outside the studio.

Who is Pilates for?

Pilates is suitable for almost everyone, regardless of age or fitness level.

It is especially beneficial if you:

  • Sit for long periods at work

  • Want to strengthen your body without high-impact exercise

  • Are returning to exercise after a break

  • Enjoy mindful movement

  • Want to improve flexibility, posture and balance

  • Simply want an hour each week that's just for you

You don't need to be flexible or fit before you begin, you simply need to start.
